Happy Father's Day

Roses grow in Heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Daddy's arms & tell him they're from me.
Tell him that I love & miss him & when he turns to smile,
place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for a while.
Because remembering him is easy. I do it everyday.
There's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
We shall meet again!!

Monochrome Black & White

My favorite colour choices tend to be White and Black,
I adore the monochrome theme this season.
Therefore I couldnt resist making monochrome necklaces.
I started a white grape necklace, then went on and made a black one.

Next I made an two asymetric necklaces, also in the black and white theme.

And more to follow.....

Cara Ann

I love knitting clothes to my friends kids, Cara Ann is the latest baby now toddler that I knitted jumpers, cardigans, dresses, hats, booties  and  jewellery. Below some of my creations. I tried to put them in age order:
Last summer, I made this cute flowery vest. She liked it so much and she wouldnt leave the flowers alone ;-)
& I made her some accessories....

Tonia

As a child , I grew up surrounded by family members knitting, crocheting and cross stitching. My mother was one of them and she taught me all I know. She used to have many projects started too keep her busy and one of them was making blankets. This picture is her trademark blanket. Thank you for teaching me and I hope to pass on everything I've learnt to my daughter.

Mother's Sunday

Mother's Day
a time for warm thoughts
and fond memories,
for expressing
the feelings and words
that often go unspoken,
for letting
those special people
in our lives know
that they are loved
and appreciated -
always.
